Flu Shots Coming to Genesee Hill
    Posted on 09/20/2019
Protect yourself, your child, and your community from the flu. Seattle Visiting Nurse Association returns to do the annual flu shots at Genesee Hill on Tuesday October 22, 2019 from noon-2:00 PM. Students (ages 4 and older), staff and community members can get the flu shot. All SPS insurance is accepted. Most forms of insurance (including Apple Health and Medicaid) and cash or check ($40) are accepted. The consent form needs to be completely filled out. Families who have no insurance can write “No insurance” and the student can still get a flu shot. All SPS insurance is accepted. A thimerosal-free vaccine is available for pregnant women. The double dose version recommended for adults over age 65 is not available.

If you/your student plan to receive the flu vaccine, please complete Seattle Visiting Nurses Consent Form (English) and return to the School Nurse no later than Wednesday October 16th. Print copies also available in the nurse’s office. This will help facilitate having enough flu vaccine available. For more information, please visit Flu Shot Clinic 2019.
