    From the Principal

As we head out to Spring Break, I want to make sure that everyone is looking ahead on their calendars for the following weeks, and we hope you will mark your calendars to join us on Thursday, May 3rd, for another Equity Night event. This one features a speaker, Jasen Frelot, who is the founder of “Kids and Race” at These Equity Team events have become a very important part of who we are as a school community. Our hope is that they are relevant to wide range families, and that we can better support all of our students by providing this rich forum for parent voices. That’s what we’re thinking about on this solemn anniversary of Dr. King’s death. In elementary school, we can see the next generation taking shape before our very eyes, and that’s why this adult work is so important. I hope you’ll make time on the 3rd (potluck dinner and child care are provided starting at 5:00).

    Best wishes,

Spring 2018 Enrichment - Spring enrichment classes have started and run through June 15, 2018. Note: Hip Hop (2-5) and Tae Kwon Do (K-3) will start late on April 19th (after Spring Break) and are currently accepting new students.

Late registration will be accepted until April 20th for classes that still have spots available. In particular, the following classes with low enrollment would welcome more students: Fun with Drawing and Painting (1-5), Mandarin (K-2), Create with Code (2-5), Gymnastics (1-4) and Hip Hop (2-5). Check the Enrichment page on the blog for the latest updates on class availability.

If you wish to register for an enrichment class, please contact the Enrichment Coordinator at

Will Your Child Be Absent From Enrichment Class or Study Club? Please let us know no later than 10 AM on the day of the class. Please inform your child's enrichment instructor directly and our Enrichment Attendance Coordinator - Tunisia Braxton ( Email contact information for enrichment instructors was provided in the Class Details email letter that was sent out at the start of the session.
